| Description: | The times for the swims are : 10:00am - Dolphines and new members 10:30am - Barracuda B 11:00am - Barracuda A 11:30am - Sharks Upon arrival at Hendra please follow signs to the Oasis fun pools and park in the large car park at the back of the swimming pool. A member of the wave Salve Team will be there to direct you were to go. The swim test is not to be taken lightly and some preparation before hand such as swim lessons or practicing at your local pool will cut down on the possible stress level of participant and parent come test day. A little practice and preparation will go a long way to ensure a WAVE SLAVE SUMMER!!!! Wave Slave Swim Test: SWIM TEST consists of: Hold breath for 15 seconds underwater. Swim 5 meters underwater. Tread water for 2.5 minutes. 100 meters crawl stroke swim in under: 2 min 40 sec for ages 9-11 2 min 30 sec for ages 12-13 2 min 20 sec for ages 14-17 Important To participate in this years program (2010), all Wave Slaves must have a completed swim test card. |
